Theory

Vector product the vector a by the vector b is a vector c, satisfying the following conditions:

  • length of vector c is equal to the product of the lengths of the vectors a and b by the sine of the angle between them;
  • the vector c is orthogonal to each of the vectors a and b;
  • the vector c is directed so that the three vectors abc is the right one.
